Wallsend Turf Installation

In December 2025, Ground Earthworks completed a 55m² turf preparation and installation project in Wallsend. Using our excavator and dumper, we removed the existing Zoysia turf and underlying sand and soil, filling multiple 6m³ skip bins with waste material. The site was then trimmed back to the required levels, and new drainage was installed by trenching 200mm wide, laying ag pipe, and backfilling with aggregate to improve water flow.

With side access through a single gate, materials were carefully managed on site as we imported 2 cubic metres of premium evergreen turf underlay before laying Sir Walter Buffalo turf. Additional skip bins were provided to manage excess material from other areas of the property. The result is a well-prepared, level lawn with improved drainage and a clean, high-quality finish ready for long-term performance.
